3 weeks old!

Wow how time is just flying by. I swear I just posted a four day old note and now its more than three weeks!!! We took some pictures with a friend on Saturday and they turned out amazing!! I would post them all but it would take up so much space! LOL! In these pics, Isabella is exactly three weeks old so that is just fun!!!! Today she weighs in at exactly 11 pounds and is 21 1/2 inches tall! She is eating well, sleeping well and I just can't get enough of her!!! Chris keeps saying he wants another one right away! LOL! We shall see... Smart wise....I need to graduate first! LOL!

3 days already!

So wow...they really do grow fast! Tee hee hee! Here is a three day old picture of Isabella!

She's here!

Wow...so we are now home from the hospital! We got home yesterday afternoon after a very long but rewarding weekend!

We went to the hospital Friday night as I was being induced with cirvidil. That is a much slower drug my doc wanted to use just to see if Isabella would drop a little more since we were still not completely sure that she would fit through thay way. By the twelve hour mark I had only dialated from 2 to a whole 3 cm. LOL! 9:30 am on Saturday, they went ahead and hooked me up to pitocin. For those who don't know... that is a drug also used for inducement but a whole lot stronger!!! Over the next half hour I started having an insane amount and very painful contrractions. Everyone was sure I was way advanced into my labor now... well I was still three... now what...? I went ahead and had the epidural so they could increase the pitocin quickly, after making it through some more crazy labor. Well, it only worked on the right side. Brainiac me decides not to say anything right away because I thought to myself, "half the pain has to be better than all of it anyway..." Wrong!!! I just ended up feeling it all on my left side!! On top of all that I started feeling very sick and light headed. Next thing I knew I was spitting up, tilted backward on the bed, oxygen mask on my face, blood pressure plummeting and Isabella's heart rate way in the hole. This happened just as Chris had stepped out to let the family know that the nurses didn't want anymore visitors until after the delivery. So of course, Chris comes back to an insane scene!

We all got through that scary moment!!!Awhile after this, the nurses decided it was once again safe to turn back on my pitocin and continue with this process. Of course...I go straight back into labor without a working epidural. When I just couldn't take it anymore, they came back removed my epidural and I had to go through that process all over again. This time....it worked!!!! Amazingly!!!! I went from 5 cm to 8 in ten minutes and the to ten in just another five to ten minutes! It was crazy...the people in the waiting room couldn't keep up with the updates!! LOL! So after only 7 hours of labor (even with all the crazy happenings) and only about 20 minutes of pushing, we ended up with a beautiful baby girl at 6:49 pm on Saturday, March 7, 2009. She was a whopping 8 lbs 11 oz and 21 inches long! Isabella Marie finally made it into the world!!! Daddy cut the cord and put on her first diaper. They nurses wrapped her all up and Chris got to be the first person to officially hold her after she was all wrapped up ( I held her right when she came out!). The experience was amzing and I would never change it for the world. I am already looking forward to the day that I will feel that amazing feeling again. Right now I am beyond blessed to have such a perfect baby girl..all ten toes and all ten fingers!! Thank you all for your love and support! I was amazed at the amount of people who called, emailed, myspaced, facebooked, and even visited us to send all your kind wishes!! We love you all!!We are home now and all is well. She eats well, sleeps well and just loves her surroundings! ( she has to be looking at everything!)

Here she comes!

So today I had my very last doctor's appt! I am very proud to say that it truly will be!!! Tee hee hee! I found out that because of her size we will be going ahead with helping her get here by her due date, Sunday. I go in to be induced with cervidil on Friday night so we plan on her being here on Saturday. We are still not sure if she is going to end up fitting through my pelvis so we are going the lighter route. If she is not fitting after the help then my doc will go ahead and do a c-section on Saturday!!! I'm beyond excited to meet my little Isabella! Thank you all for your support and loving wishes! As soon as I'm home I promise to post pictures!!!

WOW!!! I'm not going crazy!

So we had our last ultrasound today and only because at the last one they could not verfiy with absoulte certainty that she has all four heart chambers because she was hiding behind my belly button! LOL!... so all turned out well today except to find out I'm going to give birth to a monster! She is currently 6 lbs 14 oz! I'm 36 weeks and due March 8th. At this rate, I will most likely give birth to baby that is over nine pounds!!!!!! Oh my! Height, weight and growth of Isabella, puts her ahead two weeks so if they decide to induce me two weeks early, that would be much appreciated! LOL! I will know how much more dialted, what station, etc on Wednesday at my next appt!

First Baby Shower

Last night was my first baby shower ever! It was a perfect end to a perfect day. It was just for the family, since we are so many. Having everyone there to celebrate such a wonderful thing was awesome! We all had a blast with great food, good music, and some amazing and very thoughtful gifts. My mother in-law made the cake, of course, and it was delicious as usual! We played all kinds of silly games like guessing how big around my belly was, not being able to say baby, seeing who ended up with a fake poopy diaper, and even waiting for our babies to be born (little fake baby in ice). Chris joined in for the food and presents. It was amazing to have him there. These next six weeks are going to be insane, between a doctor's appointment every week to classes, school and family coming in to town, and even another baby shower! Well, I'm sure I will be posting like crazy so keep an eye out!

Family 4D Ultrasound

Wow...so today has been amazing so far. This morning we had an appointment for a 4D ultrasound and we invited the whole family! This place is amazing with lots and lots of room and a huge projector sending the image onto the wall for all to see!! Anywho, we invited all the family we have in town and most were able to come! It was such an amazing experience and for some, like Grandma, it was the first time they had ever even seen an ultrasound making it even more special. We got so many amazing pictures and a DVD of the whole session. I'm 34 weeks now so she is about out of room! The crazy thing is....it's so true!! I was laughing and crying because she is literally squished! Arms in her face, toes is her nose (she gets that from me, lol) and she just wouldn't turn over for the first half of the ultrasound so we spent many minutes watching her beautiful ear. She must already feel like she has a good side! When she did finally turn to face us, I looked over and saw a tear in her Daddy's eye. Chris will never admit it, but he has a heart of gold that has only grown larger since finding out he was going to be a dad!
After the ultrasound we all headed to the neighborhood Red Robin! Awesome!! Our waitress did an amzing job keeping 14 crazy people well stocked and happy! No wrong orders, split checks, refills on drinks and fries just kept coming! What a day!!
Now I'm heading out to go to the Family Baby Shower!! I will post more later...promise!

So Blessed!

So I just wanted to take this time to share how blessed we have been this year and how we are so looking forward to this coming year!

This year has been full of surprises...good and bad...but have all lead to a great year of memories! This was the first complete year that Chris and I have been married which has been nothing but good times. On our one year anniversary, we were so joyed to discover that I was pregnant with our first baby!! After four pregnancy tests we were sure it was true!! Chris finally got away from Jamba Juice and into two jobs that he loves! After applying in April and hanging through all the drama, he was hired into the school district this past November. Yay good benefits, great pay, and a nice stable job! He also took on Gamestop for extra money and is having a blast! Chris completed his first full semester of college and came out with a 4.o! Boy do I miss those days!! Tee hee hee! I'm still subbing until my license expires in March...Just in time for baby! By July, we still had not heard anything about my sealing cancellation so Chris went on and was endowed on August 14th. I can not tell you what a joyous day that was. We attend the temple often and just love being there together. We continue to look forward to the day that we will be sealed as a family! On September 30th, we found out that not only were we absolutely right about being pregnant, but that we were expecting a baby girl!! I cannot express the mix of emotion that has come since then for Chris and I! The holidays went very well with many blessing flying our way and talk about the next one to come!
2009 promises to be a wonderful year for us. Hopefully with more ups than downs as we grow as a family. Isabella Marie is due March 8th and we continue to count the days!! Chris will be moving up in the district in March which will be a huge financial blessing to our family. I look forward to taking some time off come March to learn how to be a good mommy...although everyone swears I will be anyway... School will continue for Chris for the fall and spring and I hope to head back no later than the fall depending on living and financial circumstances. We cannot wait for all the new memories coming our way!

We wish you all a wonderful new year!!!!

Snow!

SNOW!!!!!! What else is there to say!!!!!

Wednesday, December 10, 2008

So here is our "cute" Christmas tree. We have plenty of Disney ornaments on there of course but doesn't match so well with our temporary angel...(hate it!) At least it beats our Charlie tree from last year! (Which we still put up!) Tee hee hee!! As per Chris' request, I even wrapped the Wii and yes it is fully functional!!! We had a blast putting it up and decorating everything else. Those "gifts" in the background are our pictures that were on the wall, wrapped! Crazy, huh? Anywho..Hope all of you are having fun decorating! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

I only have three more months to go although I feel like I am already about to explode! Tee hee hee! Chris and I are doing wonderful. He finished up his semester early so I'm so proud of him and happy to have a hubby away from school for awhile!

I know, I know....but those who know the struggles we have gone through these past few months can only imagine what a joy this is. I'm twenty five weeks along now and growing like crazy. She kicks me all day long and very, very hard! We will post new pictures very soon...promise. I need to grab a new pic of the belly and I hope to have lots to share come my appointment on the 3rd! Happy Halloween!

So we though we would have lots of fun this Halloween! Memories before we make our family officially bigger. I cannot wait to dress up Isabella next year i the cutest thing I am sure to find but for this year we just enjoyed our time together! I was a fair maiden ( the costume borrowed from my Mother-in-law just so it could fit over my belly!) and Chris was a mobster. We went down to the little apartment Halloween party in the afternoon and Chris won us two little fishies! Then later in the evening we voted just before the polls closed, yes in our costumes, and headed to a friend's party!

This is too cool!!!! Today Chris and I decided to try the whole light on the belly thing. It was the coolest! She moved around a ton and even kept kicking the exact spot the light was coming through! If she doesn't like the light...she is just like Daddy....he hates the sun!!!!!

She's kicking me!

So on another note to this wonderful weekend....Isabella started kicking me! I know she has probably been doing it for some time but I have not been able to tell what was what! I know for sure now that those crazy feelings in there are her kicking me! It is insane to feel it and to have yet another confirmation that she is in there! I have these days where I just think I'm going crazy feeling things I have wanted to feel for years but nothing is really in there...I know that seems silly but I have wanted to be a mom for my whole life and if I had not seen the ultrasound with my own eyes, I would continue to believe I am just nuts! Any who...can't wait until the day comes when Chris can feel her too!
